The terms for text messages sent through LolaDesk. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
1. Program
LolaDesk sends text messages on behalf of salons, spas and med spas that use LolaDesk (each a “Business”). Messages come from that Business’s own phone number and are about that Business. LolaDesk also sends account and alert texts to Business owners and staff who opt in.
2. Types of messages
- Customer care and conversational: replies to your texts, questions and requests.
- Appointment messages: booking confirmations, reminders, confirmation requests, reschedules, cancellations, waitlist openings and deposit or payment links.
- Promotional messages (only if you agreed): offers, rebooking reminders and updates from the Business.
- Owner alerts: missed calls, hot leads and account notices for Business owners who enable them.
3. Consent
You agree to receive messages when you text a Business, book or request an appointment and provide your number, or otherwise opt in with that Business. Promotional messages are sent only with your prior express written consent. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
4. Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions, and for promotions typically no more than a few messages per month.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
6. Opt out and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that Business. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again by replying START. Reply HELP for help, or email legal@loladesk.com.
7. Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by your carrier, coverage or device.
8. Privacy
Your information is handled under our Privacy Policy and the Business’s own policies. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
9. Business obligations
Businesses using LolaDesk must collect and keep records of required consent, send promotional messages only to people who agreed to receive them, honor opt-outs immediately, follow quiet hours and the Acceptable Use Policy, and complete any required 10DLC registration.
