Acceptable Use Policy
Effective and last updated: October 1, 2026
What every LolaDesk account must and must not do — to protect clients, carriers and the Service.
Contents
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) protects the people LolaDesk serves, our carrier partners and the Service. It applies to every account and user. Violations may lead to removal of content, suspension or termination without refund, and reporting to authorities or carriers.
2. Messaging and calling
- No messages or calls without the consent the law requires; no purchased, rented, scraped or shared contact lists; no texting people who opted out.
- No spam, phishing, misleading sender information, URL shorteners designed to hide destinations, or evasion of carrier filtering.
- No content about cannabis, illegal drugs, firearms sales, gambling, sex or adult content, hate, debt collection, high-risk financial offers, or other content prohibited by carriers (“SHAFT” and similar rules).
- No robocalls, auto-dialing campaigns or prerecorded messages that violate the TCPA or state law; respect quiet hours (generally 8am–9pm recipient local time, stricter where required).
- No use for emergency communications.
3. Honesty and impersonation
- Do not instruct Lola to deny being an AI when sincerely asked, to impersonate a real person, or to make false or misleading claims about prices, credentials, results or treatments.
- Do not publish fake reviews or ask Lola to solicit reviews in exchange for undisclosed incentives.
4. Health and sensitive data
- Do not use the Service to collect or send medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, Social Security numbers, full card numbers or other sensitive data, unless we have signed an agreement allowing it.
- Med spas: Lola may describe services and book consultations, but must not give medical advice.
5. Security and integrity
- No attempts to access other accounts or salons’ data, probe or bypass security, overload the Service, reverse engineer it, or use it to build a competing product.
- No malware, scraping, credential sharing outside your team, or reselling the Service without our written agreement.
6. Lawful use
Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with consumer protection, privacy, anti-discrimination, advertising and professional licensing laws that apply to your business.
7. Reporting
Report abuse to legal@loladesk.com. We may investigate, cooperate with carriers and authorities, and preserve information as needed.
